Best Christmas gift ever !

It is amazing what the gift of musi can do and how it can move people in so many different ways. The other day I had the privilege of playing a show at the Blythdale Childnres hospital in NY with The Fray, Rob Thomas, Gavin DeGraw and Matt Nathanson along with Holiday Express. It was such an amazing event to be a part of. To sing holiday songs and share smiles with some of the patients at the hospital was such an amazing feeling. There is nothing better than seeing these children happy and enjoying the music... I want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday ! Enjoy !

LA was awesome ! Went to Cali for the first time last week. It's BEAUTIFUL out there. What an awesome week in Nashville. Had a couple meetings, songwriting sessions, some radio interviews, and a live performance on the ABC Mid-Day Show !!! .. It was so great to be back in town and visit with some friends. Also did a Songwriter Round at Hotel Indigo, which was awesome ! Sitting in the audience was, Melanie Safka.. After a little convincing, she got up after the show and performed her hit "Brand New Key" ! She sounded amazing and has such a huge voice ! She's still got it ! .... Big news coming up, AND the Music Video for "IHMBF" is almost completed !!! So excited for everyone to see it !!! .............. History one oh one !

So, I've never really been a history buff or ever even attended history class at all, lol but today was awesome ! We had our last day of filming for the "I Hate My Boyfriend" music video and we shot it in this AMAZING hanger. It just happens to be the hanger where the Hinderburg caught fire and was destroyed in 1937 ! The company that built the Hindenburg was called the "Zepplin Company", which is where the famous American rock band "Led Zepplin" go their name!!... Now THAT'S the kind of history I'm in to ! The building was absolutely incredible and such a cool additional location to film at ! A HUGE thank you to the Manchester Naval Base for allowing us to film at such a beautiful, historic place ! It was soo cool !

I've been filming a music video for "I Hate My Boyfriend" over the past couple of days and I'm sooo excited about it ! It's coming out great so far ! We have a couple more days of filming, which should be fun, and then it's a wrap ! I can't wait for everyone to see it ! .... Even more exciting news, "I Hate My Boyfriend" hit 58 on the charts this week!!!! I am so thankful and happy that it's getting such a good response from country radio! Music Video !

so, thanksgiving was AWESOME ! It was so great to hang out with family and spend some time relaxing... Today was day 1 of the video shoot for "I Hate My Boyfriend" and it went so well. We filmed it near my hometown on the Jersey Shore and it was soo much fun ! FREEZING, But soo much funn ! LOL. I can't wait until its done ! Still a couple more days of filming, but were getting close !

CEE EM AY's !!!!

Just rolled in to Nashville yesterday morning and my trip was already a success !! Got off the plane and headed straight downtown to see my boy Jason Aldean rock out and acoustic set, he sounded amazing as always ! .. Got to relax a little bit and play a couple songs at the brand new bar on broadway "Bootleggers".... Then it was off to the one and only Grand Ole Opry to see some of Nashville's favorites, Sunny Sweeney, Danny Gokey, The Whites, Little Jimmy Dickens and Darius Rucker. The show was amazing. Its always cool to see the magic that happens on stage at the Opry......... And tonight, it's off to the CMA's ! I am SUPER excited to see some of my idols and friends get honored and recognized for their amazing achievements, songs, and success ! Life is good =]

Working 9 to 5 to reach 65!

Halloween !

This weekend in Nashville was AWESOME !!!! I had so much fun dressing up, going out out on the town, playing a show at Rebar, and going to the Predators game !!! It was awesome to see everyone out on Boradway dressed up in costumes and showing some Halloween spirit ! On our ride back to NJ, we stopped in Marion Virginia and did a radio show with Lynn Rutledge at WMEV ! ... Now were back in Jersey for a couple days !!

Arkansas, Memphis and Nashville... what could be better?

Arkansas was amazing and soooo beautiful ! We had so much fun hanging out with Jarrett Jackson in Russellville and Lisa & Beemer in Harrison.... While on our ride back to Nashville, we stopped in memphis. Did some singing on Beal Street and had the best ribs EVER at Rendezvous. It was awesome.... Now we are back in Nashville and having the best time ever. We had a radio show with our friend Captain Jack yesterday and then played a show at Rebar ! It was so much fun to see all of our friends and jam out ! Looking forward to spending the weekend in Nashville and going to my first ever Predators game !!!!! yayyyy !!!

Took the b-e-a-utiful ride from NJ to TN on friday... Driving through the mountains, listening to country classics and seeing all the fall colors, the ride couldnt have been better ! ..... It was awesome to spend the weekend in Nashville and visit some friends. We are off to Arkansas today to visit some radio stations and we are so excited to re-visit some of our friends in Harrison Arkansas.. Gonna be a great week !!!

Big Froggy 101 and WWBE

Traveled out to State College and Selinsgrove PA this week and had such a great time ! We spent all day on thursday with Big Froggy 101. "Hopper" (Jeff Hunt) quizzed Gordon and I on air, by calling out different country songs and challenging us to sing them.. We can't turn down a challenge ! lol ... On Friday we hung with our great friends at WWBE in Selinsgrove and sang some songs in their new BEAUTIFUL studio in the Susquehanna Valley Mall.... AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, "I Hate My Boyfriend" hit 92 after only 2 weeks on the Music Row Charts !! Having a blast and so excited to be back out on the road !

Mary-land / road again !

We played an amazing benefit show this weekend in Maryland for St.Jude Children's Research Hospital. "Ride For Research" with Cat Country. So many people came out to support St.Jude and it was such a great feeling to see everyone in good spirits, enjoying country music, and raising money for such a good cause... We are back out on the road this week and heading to Pennsylvania for a couple shows !

WOO HOOO ! Just heard some pretty cool news, "I Hate My Boyfriend" was one of the top most dowloaded songs on Play MPE yesterday, along with Kid Rock, Jake Owen, Zac Brown Band and Dierks Bently !!! Maine & New Hampshire

We had such a great time in Maine this week. Gordon and I visited Randy McCoy and Sharon Buck at B98.5 ! It was such a fun radio show and Maine is absolutely gorgeous !! As we were driving back to NJ, we got a call from our good friend Natalie Stovall. Natalie and her band were playing at St. Anselm's College in Manchester, New Hampshire which happened to be right on our way home ! We ended up opening up for Natalie and getting to hang out with such cool people. The students at St.Anselm's were all so nice and inviting. It couldn't have been better, getting to hang out with great friends and singing country music for people who love it as much as we do. Hurricane !

So, we made it through Hurricane Irene !!! Have a couple trees down but my family and friends are all safe and dry, thank God.... I think hurricane Irene is trying to tell Gordon and I to pack up our bags and get the hell out of here, so thats what were gonna do ! lol. Gordon and I are in the middle of planning our next journey out on the road and getting the new single ready to share with the world ! We are so excited about how well our song "Hurricane" is doing, and so thankful to everyone that helped it fly up the charts. We can't wait to start planning our next radio tour and will share with all of you our dates and where-abouts as soon as they are booked and firmed up ! ... Our sincerest condolences to all of the people that have suffered damage and loss by Hurricane Irene. We are thinking of you and wish you all the strength to get through this. Love to all !

Life Is Good !

What a great friday ! All in one day, we got to perform with an amazing artist & Found out that "Hurricane" is now 55 on the charts !!! Our show with Randy Travis last night was a blast. Randy and his band are some of the most humble, generous, talented, kind-hearted people I have ever met. They are real-deal musicians. It was so awesome to be able to open up for him and share the stage. Even though his crew played a HUGE prank on me back stage ! lol But overall it was a great day ! yayyy !! We just got the charts back and "Hurricane" is at spot #58 !!! Things are moving along so fast its crazy !! This week I got to do a live interview in my hometown on Thunder 106. It was so cool to be able to co-host and give shout-outs to all my friends and family that were tuning in. We got to goof off, listen to great music and also promote our show coming up with Randy Travis ! We are all so excited to be able to play a show with such an amazing, talented artist. The Coolest Show EVER !

Oh My Gosh !! My band and I played the coolest show ever the other day in Barnegat Bay ! We got to play for a crowd of people who were all in boats, rafts, swimmies, ect. people even swam up to the barge and sang along and partied with us all afternoon ! Country Thunder 106 put on such an amazing show and the people that came out were so much fun. This was totally a show that I will never forget and I am so glad that I got to be part of !

Bay Bash

Back home in jersey for a couple days. I am so excited for this saturday ! We are playing a show on a barge in the middle of Barnegat Bay ! The show starts at 11:00am and is an all day event with some killer bands on the bill including Bullzeye, Dusty Gray, After the Reign, and Frankie Ballard!  I am REALLY hoping that this barge doesn't float around too much ! haha don't wanna fall into the bay !! ... Just finished another leg of the radio tour! We hit Mississippi, Louisanna and Alabama ! Making our way back to New Jersey right now. We have about a 20 hour car ride !!!!! Ahhhh!!! We had so much fun this week visiting radio stations and exploring New Orleans ! What an awesome city. Bourbon street is amazing, I tried BBQ shrimp for the first time, man that stuff is good :) and for some more exciting news, we hit 65 on the charts this week ! "movin on up" I am having such a blast right now. I have been so lucky and blessed to be traveling the US and living my dream. Keep On Moving...

Just spent the weekend in  Nashville, got to relax a bit and had some meetings too ! There are some pretty exciting things coming up which I can't wait to share with everybody. We also get to play a really fun show at the Dixie Carter theatre in Huntingdon TN for the "Fun On The Farm Jamboree" with Kelly Green and Bo Weevil from 100.9 Farm Country. We had a blast and were so excited to play a show with such great people!... Packing up my bags at the moment and getting ready for another week on the road. I think were headed to Mississippi and Louisiana this week, but then again, I wont know until I'm there ! Haha I'm getting used to the "Plug and Go"type of thing, where ever our GPS and schedule says to go that day, thats where we end up !!! ...I should go help pack up the car now.. lol.. ttyl !

We're 66 on the chart ...but it's 105 degrees in GEORGIA !!! HOTTT

We are having the best time on the road! We are watching our single "Hurricane" rise up the chart and we are so excited to know people are starting to hear it. Today we were at WUCZ in Carthage TN with Dennis Banka, and then with Steve Nichols and Jim Quinton at WPPL in Blueridge GA. There are heat advisories in effect for the next few days so Aura and I are drinking tons of water and planning on playing tons of pranks on Gordon!

Well ... Disney World was a blast, we got some great pictures for Facebook ....We just pulled into Nashville and guess what? ITS CMA FEST ...Almost every single country artist is in town to meet all their fans! Thousands of people travel here this week to be a part of it. I got into this because I am a fan first and can't wait to see some some of my favorites, and check out some of the live performances! We just had a fun couple of visits at country radio in Zolfo Springs with Billy Brown (106.9 The Bull)  and then in Ocala with Kelly Wright (Thunder Country 102.3) We can't thank everyone enough at country radio for continuing to play and support our first single "Hurricane". 18 going on 80 ! Yessssss.

Just heard the great news that we're up another six spots to # 80 on the chart with our debut single "Hurricane". Not such a bad birthday week so far! Gordon and I are sooo excited to get to FLA and play for some more radio stations! Next week we're going to visit 106.9 THE BULL (WZZS) in Zolfo Springs ...and then we'll be at Thunder Country 102.3 (WTRS) in Ocala. We may even try to visit Mickey on the way...after all, what's a girl to do while she's on the road?

My 18th Birthday =]

My 18th Birthday (weekend) was amazing !!! We started it off by taking a ferry called "The S.S Badger" across Lake Michigan, then drove to Cleveland! Went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and ended the weekend in New York City for some dinner in "Little Italy" and Fleet Week ! Being on the road has been amazing and its so cool to be able to travel and see the world... Heading off to Florida on Saturday for a couple of shows !!! Can't Wait !!!! =]

Home Sweet Home !

Rolled into New Jersey last night ! Its good to be home ! These past two weeks were so much fun. It's been awesome to be able to travel and meet so many new people. We've had a blast preforming on air and doing interviews. I am so thankful and lucky to be able to travel and do what I love. After being out for only 2 weeks, our single "Hurricane" charted 119 on the Music Row Charts !!! SOOO EXCITED! I want to thank our new friends at country radio SO much for all of their support! This has been an amazing experience so far, and I can't wait to start the next leg of the tour ! It's being planned right now as a matter of fact ! lol

Weekend In Nashville

I am so glad I got to spend the weekend in Nashville with my friends and family. After the 1st leg of the radio tour, Gordon, Aura and I were so excited to be able to have the weekend off in our favorite city ! We hung downtown, listened to some amazing music, had at BBQ at my dear friend/producer Kents house, went to Browns Diner (best burgers ever!) and even did our laundry at the Laundromat for the first time ! LOL. We have been having so much fun on the road and hope to be doing this forever ! From Kansas to Missouri, Missouri to Arkansas, and Arkansas to Tennessee, We have met some amazing people and new friends at the Radio Stations. Super excited to hit Kentucky and West Virginia this week !!!

Kansas and Missouri

WOW ! We've had a crazy few days and we're loving every minute of it ! We met some amazing new friends, seen some beautiful places, drove for hundreds of miles, and even saw our first Zonkey Farm ! (1/2 Zebra, 1/2 Donkey) !!! Life on the road has been a blast so far and I'm so excited to be touring with my friends Gordon and Aura. Kansas was absolutely beautiful, we got the privilege to play on live radio shows in Manhatten, Salina, Pittsburg, and Wichita. We even got to play a live show last night (tuesday) at Rivercity Brewery in Wichita... Had a couple shows in Missouri today in Barnett and Mexico which were so much fun. We are so excited to be on the road, sharing the gift of music and following our dream. The Mid-West has been pretty sweet so far ! Can't wait to see what comes up next =]

Warsaw, Liberty and Binghamtom... NY !!!

LOVING NY! Just kicked our feet up after a radio show in Binghamton NY. Had an awesome couple of days so far. Warsaw NY yesterday morning was so much fun. Got to hang out with Lee Richey and play a couple of songs on air for him and his listeners; It was a great first stop to our little adventure ! ...Early this morning we ventured out to Liberty NY to co-host the "Ciliberto & Friends" segment on Thunder 102... man that was hysterical !!!! We had so much fun chatting, playing music and cracking jokes.... AND this afternoon we headed over to Binghamton to visit the HAWK ! Got to hang with Don Break and some of his co-workers, played them a couple songs from the new record, and ordered some of the best pizza ever ! Having so much fun on tour and SO looking forward to the next leg =]

Start of the Radio Tour

Getting excited to start the Radio Tour tomorrow afternoon ! Kicking it off a week early and heading to New York and Pennsylvania. Off to Warsaw NY tomorrow afternoon to do a live on-air interview at WCJW, which is gonna be awesome!!! Then heading to Liberty NY on wednesday to co-host the morning show with Paul Cilberto at WDNB, and from what I hear, Paul is one funny/nice guy lol ! After that were off to Binghamton NY to do a segment at WHWK and then to Selinsgrove PA for a segment at WWBE ! Its gonna be an awesome week and a great way to kick of the tour. We are all super excited to start touring and spreading the new single "Hurricane" all over the country.

Show with Edens Edge 4/12/11

Had suchh an amazing time playing at The Shark Fin last night in Forked River NJ !! Edens Edge was awesomeeee ! Their voices and harmonies blended so well together. I had goose-bumps the entire time !!! Not only did they sound awesome but they were all super nice and so cool to hang out with. This was our last show in NJ before we head out for the radio tour; so glad it was such a great one !! Thank you soo much to all of our friends/fans who came out last night. As always, it was great to see all of the familiar faces and hear everyone singing along =]

Corey Wagar with Edens Edge

SURPRISE !! Country Thunder 106 just called to see if we can do a show tomorrow night with Edens Edge... um, of course we can !! I love planning things last minute. Makes everything so much more exciting !! I am so excited to hang with them, rock out and share the stage ! Can't wait to hear them sing their new single "Amen" (love that song) ! New Single !

HEY!!! I am super stoked for all of you guys to hear the new single "Hurricane". I co-wrote it with my best friend/guitar player Gordon Brown. The songs just came to us. Gordon started out with this really cool guitar rift and the rest is history. We got to record this song at The Sound Kitchen in Nashville and the one and only Kent Wells produced it !! I can't wait to release the song on April 25th. But, in the mean time, Gordon and I put together a little video with a "Sneak Preview" of the song !! CRS week !

WOW ! What an amazing time we had at CRS this year ! So many nice and talented people all gathered in one city for one reason... country music. It seems like everywhere you turned was amazing music being performed by the top artists themselves ! After flying into Nashville on Tuesday morning, Gordon and I headed straight downtown to see Colt Ford and Joanna Smith perform at The Cadillac Ranch. MAN they were good !! And if that wasn't cool enough, the next night we saw Thompson Square perform, hung with Jerrod Niemann, AND got to go to Toby Keith's party at Margaritaville (Captain Jack hooked us up!) We also went to the Warner Brother's party to celebrate their success and all of the amazing talent that goes along with it. We had such an incredible week and can't wait to perform at next years CRS! Getting to hang out with old friends and meet so many new ones along the way was everything we hoped for and had in mind.
